- The Ministry of Labour and the Construction Safety Association of Ontario requires that everyone on the show floor during move-in and move-out of SCN Toronto must wear protective footwear. (CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots) Individuals who do not comply with these rules during that period will be asked to leave the premises until Saturday morning, March 25th. Display Vehicle and Competitors Car- 1/4 of a tank of gas. - The gas cap must be taped or locked. - Battery cables must be disconnected. - Place oil catch container under engine.(provided by show management) - Pads must be place under each tires.(provided by show management) - Cars are not to be started on any show day at any time, under any circumstances. - No Fog machines or hazer machines allowed. - Music must be played at a level not to interrupt the business of surrounding exhibitors or vehicles. - Please have hoods up w/ batteries disconnected by 11:00am on Saturday for Fire Marshal inspection. As your batteries are disconnected, no car alarms should be activated. Should your alarm go off, your car may be towed from the facility, at your expense. If towed, no refund and/or claim costs incurred, including damage, will be sought against Sport Compact Nights. When you leave set-up to please manually lock your car. *Failure to comply with these rules will result in your disqualification without reimbursement and the removal of your vehicle from the show floor at your own cost. Sport Compact Nights will not be help responsible for any damage that may occur to your car.
Exhibitor Move-InLoad-In for all exhibitors in on Friday from 10:00am - 6:00pm. All vehicles will need to report to the Marshalling Yard first. An Attendant will be posted at the Marshalling Yard. The attendant will assign the delivery order of the vehicles and give a numbered ticket to the driver based on a prearranged priority listing produced by show management.(see map for load-in directions). There will be absolutely no load-in on Saturday! No exceptions! Failure to Load-In on Friday will constitute the elimination of booth without refund. Sport Compact Nights will provide you with a number of credentials based on your booth size. When you check in, you will have two options to pick up your credentials:
Display VehiclesCars going in your booth must roll in on Friday between 6:00pm and 7:00pm. All vehicles will need to report to the Marshalling Yard first. An Attendant will be posted at the Marshalling Yard. The attendant will assign the delivery order of the vehicles and give a numbered ticket to the driver based on a prearranged priority listing produced by show management. (see map for load-in directions). If they are entering the show competition and have paid their registration, they will need to see the car show manager to get classified and entered. Please keep in mind that all display cars must fit entirely inside your booth. As a rule, one car will fit per 10x20 booth. All vehicles must have less than a 1/4 tank of gas with the gas cap taped off and the batteries must be disconnected. We are going to have to be strict on this due to fire codes! Please have hoods up w/ batteries disconnected by 11:00am on Saturday for Fire Marshal inspection. Failure to comply will result in disqualification and removal of the vehicle from the show. No Fog machines or hazer machines allowed. Competitor Roll-InCompetitor cars must roll in between 7:00pm and 11:00pm on Friday. All vehicles will need to report to the Marshalling Yard first. An Attendant will be posted at the Marshalling Yard. The attendant will assign the delivery order of the vehicles and give a numbered ticket to the driver based on a prearranged priority listing produced by show management. Exhibitor and Competitor Move-Out The event is scheduled to end on Saturday at 11:00pm . There will be no tear-down of booths allowed prior to that time. You must be out of the building by 3:00am unless otherwise posted on the SCN website. Booth SpaceAll merchandise must remain within your assigned booth space at all times. Music must be played at a level not to interrupt the business of surrounding exhibitors or vehicles. You cannot bring in outside food or beverage into the halls. Sharing of space with other companies is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in full payment of space for each company and/or removal from the show.
