RULES & REGULATIONS

- The Ministry of Labour and the Construction Safety Association of Ontario requires that everyone on the show floor during move-in and move-out of SCN Toronto must wear protective footwear. (CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots) Individuals who do not comply with these rules during that period will be asked to leave the premises until Saturday morning, March 25th.

Display Vehicle and Competitors Car

- 1/4 of a tank of gas.

- The gas cap must be taped or locked.

- Battery cables must be disconnected.

- Place oil catch container under engine.(provided by show management)

- Pads must be place under each tires.(provided by show management)

- Cars are not to be started on any show day at any time, under any circumstances.

- No Fog machines or hazer machines allowed.

- Music must be played at a level not to interrupt the business of surrounding exhibitors or vehicles.

- Please have hoods up w/ batteries disconnected by 11:00am on Saturday for Fire Marshal inspection.

As your batteries are disconnected, no car alarms should be activated. Should your alarm go off, your car may be towed from the facility, at your expense. If towed, no refund and/or claim costs incurred, including damage, will be sought against Sport Compact Nights. When you leave set-up to please manually lock your car.

Exhibitor Move-In

Load-In for all exhibitors in on Friday from 10:00am - 6:00pm.  All vehicles will need to report to the Marshalling Yard first.  An Attendant will be posted at the Marshalling Yard.  The attendant will assign the delivery order of the vehicles and give a numbered ticket to the driver based on a prearranged priority listing produced by show management.(see map for load-in directions).  There will be absolutely no load-in on Saturday! No exceptions! Failure to Load-In on Friday will constitute the elimination of booth without refund. Sport Compact Nights will provide you with a number of credentials based on your booth size. When you check in, you will have two options to pick up your credentials:

1. You can pick up all of your credentials at the time of load-in.
2. Staff can pick up passes individually as they arrive at Will Call on Saturday.

Display Vehicles

Cars going in your booth must roll in on Friday between 6:00pm and 7:00pm. All vehicles will need to report to the Marshalling Yard first.  An Attendant will be posted at the Marshalling Yard.  The attendant will assign the delivery order of the vehicles and give a numbered ticket to the driver based on a prearranged priority listing produced by show management. (see map for load-in directions).   If they are entering the show competition and have paid their registration, they will need to see the car show manager to get classified and entered.  Please keep in mind that all display cars must fit entirely inside your booth. As a rule, one car will fit per 10x20 booth.  All vehicles must have less than a 1/4 tank of gas with the gas cap taped off and the batteries must be disconnected.  We are going to have to be strict on this due to fire codes! Please have hoods up w/ batteries disconnected by 11:00am on Saturday for Fire Marshal inspection. Failure to comply will result in disqualification and removal of the vehicle from the show. No Fog machines or hazer machines allowed.

Competitor Roll-In

Exhibitor and Competitor Move-Out

The event is scheduled to end on Saturday at 11:00pm . There will be no tear-down of booths allowed prior to that time. You must be out of the building by 3:00am unless otherwise posted on the SCN website.

Booth Space

All merchandise must remain within your assigned booth space at all times.  Music must be played at a level not to interrupt the business of surrounding exhibitors or vehicles. You cannot bring in outside food or beverage into the halls. Sharing of space with other companies is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in full payment of space for each company and/or removal from the show.

Event Schedule

Friday

1. Exhibitor load-in: 10:00am to 6:00pm
2. Exhibitor display vehicles: 6:00pm to 7:00pm
3. Competitor car load-in: 7:00pm to 11:00pm

Saturday

1. 10:00am Will Call Opens Exhibitors/Car owners allowed in building through exhibitors entrance. (hand carry only)
2. 1:00pm Show opens to the public
3. 2:00pm All cars ready for judging
4. 10:00pm Award ceremonies begins – Main Stage
5. 11:00pm Award ceremonies ends/ show ends
6. 11:30pm Show cars can leave after public has safely exited the venue

Shipping

• Clearly mark shipments with your company name, booth number and the event name.
• Material or equipment may be shipped to the Venue no earlier than the Friday of the show (set-up day).
• Unfortunately any shipment received prior to the move-in period will be turned away.
• Venue employees are not authorized to sign for receipt of Client or Exhibitor goods.
